Legal identity
Homefold is operated by ALPHRIZE LABS PTY LTD, trading under the business name homefold. For support, privacy, account deletion, data export, or legal notices, contact [email protected].
Using Homefold
Homefold helps you organize your personal life, run a shared Home (solo, couple, or family), and share Public Events with people outside your household. You are responsible for the information you add and for deciding whether a suggested document, date, task, summary, or household action is accurate.
Free first release
The first iOS App Store release of Homefold is free. It does not include an active subscription, in-app purchase, paid token plan, paywall, or paid purchase flow.
Future versions may introduce paid plans, subscriptions, token plans, or other paid features. If that happens, ALPHRIZE LABS PTY LTD will provide clear terms, pricing, renewal, cancellation, refund, and App Store purchase information before any purchase is made.
Accounts
You may create an account using email and password or Apple Sign In. You must be an adult to create an account. Some households join a Home through an invite link, QR code, or invite code. You are responsible for keeping sign-in credentials, devices, and invite links secure, and for telling us promptly if you believe an account or invite link has been compromised.
Personal, Home, and visibility
Your Personal space is private to you. Content you add to a Home may be seen by members of that Home. Content you publish as a Public Event may be seen by anyone who has the link, QR code, or invite code and by participants who join. Choose what to keep private and what to share.
User content and Public Events
You keep ownership of content you add to Homefold. By adding content, you give ALPHRIZE LABS PTY LTD permission to store, process, display, transmit, and organize that content so Homefold can provide the service, including hosting and delivering Public Events to invited participants.
You are responsible for content you publish, documents or images you upload, and the people you invite. Do not publish a Public Event or content you do not have the right to share.
AI-assisted organization
Homefold may help summarize notices, organize documents, extract dates, suggest tasks, or support an AI-assisted conversation experience. AI-assisted output can be incomplete or wrong. You must review important details before acting on them, including dates, deadlines, payment information, permission requirements, health or care details, school instructions, locations, and contact details.
Homefold is not a professional adviser and is not a substitute for legal, medical, financial, safety, school, or emergency advice.
No objectionable content or abusive behavior
There is no tolerance for objectionable, unlawful, harassing, hateful, or abusive content or behavior in Homefold, including in Public Events and shared Home content. By using Homefold you agree to this policy. We may remove content, remove participants, or suspend accounts that violate it. See our Community guidelines for what is not allowed and how to report content.
Reporting and moderation
Anyone can report objectionable content or an abusive participant, and we act on reports of violations, remove violating content, and can eject the users who provided it. Event organizers can also remove participants and content in events they control. Reports can be sent to [email protected].
Acceptable use
- Do not upload or publish content you do not have the right to use or share.
- Do not use Homefold to harm, harass, defraud, or impersonate others.
- Do not publish objectionable, unlawful, or abusive content in Public Events or Home spaces.
- Do not attempt to bypass security, abuse invite links, scrape the service, or disrupt Homefold infrastructure.
- Do not use Homefold for emergency, medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decision making without independent verification.
Service availability
We aim to keep Homefold reliable, but the service may change, pause, or become unavailable due to maintenance, network issues, third-party services, app store requirements, or operational limits.
Liability limits
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Homefold is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. ALPHRIZE LABS PTY LTD is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunities, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable consumer, privacy, or other mandatory laws.
Consumer and privacy rights
Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable Australian or New Zealand consumer, privacy, or other mandatory laws. See our Privacy Policy, Privacy choices, Account deletion, and Data export pages.
Governing law
Governing law: These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, subject to any mandatory consumer, privacy, or other rights available to users in Australia, New Zealand, or another applicable location.
