Security practices

• Use authenticated access for account, Personal, Home, and Public Event data.
• Limit access to operational systems to people and services that need it.
• Use HTTPS for public pages and app API traffic where configured.
• Use platform permission controls for camera, calendar, reminders, and file import.
• Separate private Personal content, shared Home content, and Public Event content by product visibility boundaries.
• Monitor operational reliability and investigate suspicious activity.
• Review deletion, export, and support requests before acting on sensitive account data.

Your role

Use a strong password, protect Apple Sign In access, do not share Home invite links or Public Event codes with people you do not trust, and tell us quickly if an account or invite link may be compromised.

Security reports

Report suspected vulnerabilities or account compromise to [email protected]. Include enough detail for us to understand and reproduce the issue, but do not include unnecessary personal information.

Australia and New Zealand breach notification

If we identify a data breach or security incident that is likely to cause serious harm, we will investigate, take containment steps, and notify affected users and regulators when required by applicable law.

For Australia, this includes considering the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). For New Zealand, this includes considering notifiable privacy breach obligations under the Privacy Act 2020.
