Privacy choices and Data rights requests

Your choices in the app
- Keep content in your private Personal space, or choose what to share into a Home.
- Choose what notices, files, images, PDFs, and records you add.
- Choose what to publish as a Public Event and who receives the link, QR code, or invite code.
- Decline or revoke optional camera, calendar, and reminders access in iOS Settings.
- Delete or update documents, tasks, Home members, and Public Events where the app provides controls.
- Use account deletion when you want to delete your account and associated cloud data.
Requests we support
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, export, withdrawal of consent where processing depends on consent, or complaint handling for personal information associated with your Homefold account. Email [email protected] with the account email and the request type.
Access and correction
You can ask what account and household information Homefold holds about you, and you can ask us to correct inaccurate account, profile, Personal, Home, Public Event, document, task, or family record information where we can reasonably verify the request.
Deletion and export
Use account deletion to delete your account and associated cloud data. Use data export to request a copy of account, Personal, Home, document, task, and Public Event information associated with your Homefold account.
Verification
We may need to verify account ownership, identity, or Home authority before acting on data rights requests, especially where shared Home, family, or Public Event data may affect other members, guardians, children, invitees, or participants.
Complaints
If you have a privacy complaint, email [email protected] with enough detail for us to review it. We will respond using the contact details you provide. Australian users may have rights to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, and New Zealand users may have rights to contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
